Not having a subscription to Amazon Prime, it came as a shock to Alan to overhear at the bus-stop that his main science fiction studio rivals have already brought out an animated series, surprisingly called something like ‘Star Trek Below Stairs’. With no time for further research before bringing out his own competing cartoon, he chooses to voice the character of Alan Hudson, a stern Scottish butler at a stately home with a variety of flighty tweenies under his care.
