Having escaped the Borg by falling head-tuft-first, protected only by the space canopy, onto a nearby damp planet, Alan tries to imagine living the rest of his life in this, his new favourite crater. As the rain continues to fall, seemingly relentlessly, he wonders whether he ought to have made more of sunny days when he used to have them.
