Episode 7.3

Even Alan has to admit that his impulsive trip to LV-223 has gone less well than he’d hoped. First, there was the unpleasant encounter with those surprisingly bitey worms. Then he ran the Saucer’s battery flat repeatedly playing a Barry Manilow medley to try to raise his also rather flattened spirits. Finally, while he’s waited for the battery to recharge on this dingy planet, he’s been kept awake every night by his boisterous neighbours who have been less than friendly, somewhat ‘in his face’, perhaps even verging on hostile.

Could it be that no one at all is very nice on LV-223? That would at least explain the irksome Easter egg.
