Episode 5.12
A bitter-sweet Christmas episode in which Alan manages, in the opening act and brilliantly, to rematerialise his saucer inside the Arctic lair of the dastardly SPECTRE and, by bundling him into it, achieves the annual festive rescue of Bernard Cribbins.
Only when the evil hench-woman Snow White, enraged, rushes him, firing her blaster both first and wildly, does Alan realise there’s no escape for him: his walking-flippers are frozen fast to the icy ground. Oh well. Another Christmas regeneration-hangover merely to keep the studio’s viewing figures up. Must find the wig for next year.
