Despite his saucer being packed to the gunnels with the latest weaponry – phasers, pulse cannons, plasma cannons, a phased polaron cannon, a tetryon cannon, an isokinetic cannon, photon torpedoes, gravimetric torpedoes, a couple of transphasic torpedoes, multikinetic neutronic mines, aceton assimilators, a cheeky second hand Romulan disruptor, and, for when all else fails, a flask of red matter in the chiller cabinet (this is why the guest accommodation lacks even a basic en suite) – when it comes to dealing with dragons, Alan is old school.
