Episode 6.9
Alan has decided to social distance alone in his winter holiday science station at the Antarctic. The nearest neighbours, a charming Norwegian family, are a good helicopter ride away. Mind you, impossible though it must be, he almost had the impression of seeing their dog sniffing around yesterday. Popping into the woodstore for an atmospheric moment, something about the scene that greets his eye does not feel quite right, though he cannot completely put his flipper on it.
It is also rather irritating that someone has left Ennio Morricone playing on the Sonos: a repeated heartbeat-like rhythm, which is only adding to Alan’s tetchiness.
