Episode 7.15b

Well that’s a wrap, once again, and time for a post-production party. Alan and company have reached the end of the seventh season, with a remarkable consistency of cast despite a global Terran pandemic, which even reached out its tentacles towards Alan’s bachelor pad at Spaceport. No one could deny the stress that he has been under, living completely alone aside from a newly adopted Klingon rescue dog Rodney and a small staff or retinue of, at most, half a dozen key specialists in bar management, massage and hospitality, understandably recruited from ‘Pleasure Planet’ Risa. 

Will there be an eighth season? Or, like Picard, could, perhaps, an aged Alan return with selected previous cast members on guest contracts only (carrying no pension or health insurance liabilities)? Who can say?
