Episode 7.9

It began innocently enough when Alan suddenly remembered where he’d filed his long missing prized conker champion trophy, won when he was a hatchling. Perhaps he shouldn’t have told his Star Fleet bosses that it came to him ‘in a vision’. But then he began to wonder whether there might be some truth in the graffiti he’d seen in the lavatories that he was the ‘Plenipotentiary [to the Gods] of the People’ and to dress accordingly. And just now, on the Promenade outside Quark’s, he’d found himself with a strange urge to say to two schmucks that there was no need to worry because the ‘katterpod harvest would be much better this year’. 

What the hell’s a ‘katterpod’ anyway? 

Perhaps all this explains the unkind words he has been over-hearing muttered behind his back recently that he is ‘obviously not taking his medication’.
