Episode 9.11

When Alan first put the Saucer in for its MOT and resolved to keep a weather eye out for ecological threats to the Earth while he waited, he hadn’t realised quite how thick and fast they would come. Tonight, an intelligent cloud of dark matter has drifted in the way of the sun and things are turning chilly. It comes as a surprise to Alan, who has seen a few things, that a cloud of dust might have evolved intelligence but Sir Fred Hoyle says it’s possible so who is to gainsay that. 

In the rest of the galaxy, everyone finds it hysterical that only one Earth scientist ever spoke out against the crazy idea of “young universe creationism”, as it’s generally called.
