Eagle-eyed viewers (aka. empty-lived nerds) have recently lit up the Twittersphere, pointing out that the beep-beep machine that Alan is sporting in the latest episode is from Star Trek The Original Series whereas the premonition scene he is clearly channelling is from Star Trek Discovery. The truth is that, if the studio cared about avoiding such obvious continuity glitches, it would hire staff who themselves gave a damn.
